Carpal Tunnel Sisters is a two-woman-many-istruments progressive cringe fulk duo (fulk being a mix of folk and funk) based in Bratislava, Slovakia. We met at an openmic at a local pub The International in 2023 and bonded over shared passion for music, arts and crafts and a shared experience with carpal tunnel syndrome achieved in two completely different work fields.

We started regularly meeting up at the openmic events and sometimes messing around and adding to eachother's performances with vocals, percussion, bass or adlibs from the audience (otherwise known as heckling). That eventually led to us forming a band, and playing our first concert at that very pub. It was also streamed on twitch. Nobody told us to stop since, so we continued playing together.
